My clients in Haberfield contacted me wanting some custom joinery in the main living space and two of the bedrooms of their beautiful timber cottage style home. They wanted to incorporate a gas fireplace which we installed into one corner to create sitting space with an armchair by Jardan beside it.
The space is beautifully eclectic and showcases my client’s treasures from living in the Middle East. The matt texture and concrete/terrazzo fusion of Caesarstone Frozen Terra was the perfect stone selection in this design with a waterfall down the side of the fireplace. Dulux Moonwort was chosen for its soft earthy tones and brings a sense of calm into this living space.
The inclusion of vertical groove detail on the drawer fronts and open shelving back boards ties in with some panelling detail in the rest of the house. We also designed and installed built in wardrobes, desks and shelves in two of the three bedrooms which also included vertical groove detail for continuity in the home.
